Letterman Blasts Off on Mentos – Powered Bike

David Letterman blasts off on a Mentos and Coke Zero-powered bike on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’ (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

“I’m shooting for the Hudson. I’ll see you losers in New Jersey!” said Letterman, as he prepared to be propelled forward by 108 2-liter bottles of soda and 648 individual Mentos.

Once Letterman takes off, he breaks into ‘Rhinestone Cowboy’ and narrowly misses a parked SUV as he weaves down the street.
