Spartacus: Blood and Sand – synopsis, cast, background story and where to watch

Half a century after Stanley Kubrick Kirk Douglass and immortalize the character, the story of the Thracian gladiator and become expiring leading a slave revolt that frightened to Rome, back to life through a series 13 episodes in length. With a graphic novel aesthetic that suits the small screen used in the film 300, the series produced by Starz Media, at the hands of producers like Bob Tapert and Sam Raimi (The legend of the search) will begin airing in January 2010 and promises to be an epic event televised by large doses of action, violence and sex.
